Data entity menu

For each data entity type, there is a menu that may be accessed in one of three ways:

1.The Main Form's main menu

2.The Main Form's tool bar

3.The entity's context menu in one of the selection grids on the Main Form

For example, the menu options to handle well data are shown below. The menu options for the other data entity types work similar.

Select [File] – [Well] from the main menu

Click the Well button in the Main Form's tool bar

Right-click on a well (context menu) in the well selection grid of the main form

	Edit well data...
	Open selected well in a data form for editing. If a well form is already open, its data well be set to the selected well unless the form is pinned. In that case, an additional well data form will be created for the selected well.

	Well properties...
	Displays a dialog box with identifying data for the well. This function was used in older versions of WellRep, the data can now be modified in the well form.

	Set as active well
	Set the current well as the active well. When re-opening WellRep, the well selection grid will be restored to the active well.

	Calculate entire well
	Opens a dialog box that will allow calculation of all well data (including wellpath, BHA and daily report data) in a single operation. When an end of well report is to be produced and all data input has been completed, it is considered good practice to recalculate the entire well prior to printing all reports. 	New well...
	Create a new well in the database.

Delete well...

Delete the currently selected well from the database.

This will permanently delete the well and all related data from the database, which cannot be undone. Unless absolutely sure, consider making a well export before deleting!
