Rock classification column

The Rock Classification column is typically used in conjunction with a Formations column and Cement Evaluation column on well sketches for P&A projects. It is used to indicated which depth ranges (i.e. formations) can be classified as:

•Undefined

•Reservoir (i.e. hydrocarbon bearing flow zone)

•Water flow zone

•Potential flow zone (water, brine, hydrocarbons, etc)

•Cap Rock

	Column properties
	Similar to all other column types. Although the wellbore trajectory may be specified, it has no function in this column type.

	Rock classifications
	Here sections of rock classification can be defined. The colors are pre-defined and cannot be changed but Labels may be input and shown/hidden as required.
