The formations column displays formations by measured depth, vertically scaled to the current depth range. 

As with all other types, the well column can be linked to a wellbore trajectory (wellplan and/or actual surveys) for calculation of TVD's.

Fill colors can be selected from a drop-down list (with some custom defined colors as the first items) or from the Color Editor which can be accessed by clicking the ... button.

Font and color settings may also be set by means (for one or more selected Formations) by using the Properties... button. 

Note: For formations, the font color defined in the Properties dialog is ignored. Instead, all formation labels are automatically drawn in contrasting black or white (determined by the Fill Color).

Visibility may also be set per Formation.
