Trajectories

List of trajectories stored with the well sketch.  Each trajectory may be a wellplan, actual survey data or even a combination (e.g. sidetrack plan tied on to actual survey data).

For wellplans only so-called 'critical points' (e.g. kick off point, end of build/turn, start of drop, etc.) needs to be entered.  intermediate points are automatically interpolated by the program.

If a trajectory is deleted, all associated survey stations are permanently deleted as well.

Survey stations

List of survey station on the trajectory.  For manual input, only MD, Inclination and Direction are required.

Confirm input by pressing [Enter].  This will move the input focus to the next cell or - when confirming Direction - to the next/new row.

Calculate

Used with manual input.  Calculates all stations on the current trajectory.

Import

Open dialog to import survey data from file or Windows clipboard.

Copy & Paste

Copy the current trajectory (including all survey stations to the Windows clipboard, then Paste the trajectory into another well sketch.

Note: 

This copies to the Windows clipboard, in a propriety format which is only recognized by the Well Sketch program.  As such, the Paste button in - for example - Excel will remain disabled (i.e. there is no recognized format on the clipboard).
