The axis column displays measured depth (MD), total vertical depth (TVD) or inclination (Inc) as determined ('scaled') by the current depth range and Major tick increment. TVD and Inclination are interpolated (based on MD) for the currently selected Wellbore Trajectory which can be defined in the Survey Manager.
The scale properties present all the options to customize the axis column. By default the Label type is MD but this may be changed to TVD or inclination. Values are displayed for each Major tick increment and Minor tick counts in between. The labels will always be drawn for measured depth values. So a TVD axis with a Major tick increment of 500 and Minor tick count of 4 will draw the calculated TVD for every 500 meter major label and every 100 meter minor label (or feet if that's the select Display unit).
Depending on where the axis is placed in the well sketch, the labels may be left-, center- or right-aligned within the column.
Visbility and font settings of the major and minor tick labels may also be set. |
