Welcome to WellSketch

Welcome to Softdrill NL WellSketch, a program to quickly draw a variety of well drawing that can be printed to any paper format or copied (in whole or partially) to other programs, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint or any other program that will accept a bitmap from the Windows clipboard.

A well sketch contains two types of columns. On top there are a number of Headers with a number of Well Columns below. The height of the headers can be controlled to determine the height of the well columns.

A variety of functionalities makes it easy to work with Well Sketch:

•Link multiple well schematic columns to a single formation column (change the formations column and all linked well schematics will be updated).

•Scaling when printing (for example, print a well sketch prepared for A4 on A3 paper).

•Quickly copy a well column within the same or in another well sketch drawing (for example re-use the same well schematic in different drawings without having to input them again).

•Copy a single column, all well columns or the entire drawing as bitmap (use columns or entire drawings in drilling programs, presentations, etc.).

•Input wellplan or survey data in the Survey Manager (link a column and automatically interpolated TVD's and Inclinations for Measured Depths).
