After selecting a LAS file, the LAS Import dialog will appear.

Well information |
Company and well name for information only. The Depth ref. value is also for reference only (i.e. not used to convert or adjust anything) but should be noted. When finally importing the data into a graph series, it may be required to adjust the reference elevation. |

Curve data |
The first column in the LAS file is always the index column of which the label (Mnemonic) should be DEPT or DEPTH and is used to read the measured depth of the data points (time based or index based data makes no sense in the context of Well Sketch). The selected curve in the list box will be used for the data values.
Note the null value input. It's read from the LAS file and should not be changed in this situation unless it's not found in the file (although it is a mandatory value in LAS). In that case a value may be input. The value is automatically saved with the series data.
Also note that, for high density data import, it is possible to condense the data prior to writing it to the graph column. |
