The Operations are input in a data grid. Data grids display multiple items in a tabular form and allow adding, modifying and deleting of items.
As an example the Lookahead Operations Editor is shown below.

At the bottom of each data grid, a so-called Data Navigator is displayed.
From left to right, the buttons have the following functionality (moving the mouse pointer over the buttons will display a hint window describing their functionality too):
1.Move selection to first record in the data grid (disabled when first record is already selected) 2.Move selection to the previous record in the data grid (disabled when first record is already selected) 3.Move selection to the next record in the data grid (disabled when last record is already selected) 4.Move selection to the last record in the data grid (disabled when last record is already selected) 5.Insert a new record above the currently selected record. Can also be done by pressing the [Insert] key on your keyboard. 6.Append a new record below the last record in the grid. Can also be done by select [arrow down] on last record. 7.Delete the currently selected record(s). Can also be done by pressing [Ctrl]-[Delete] on your keyboard. 8.Save changes to the item (enabled when the current record contains changes). This function is implicitly executed when moving the selection to another item (row). 9.Cancel changes to the current item. Can also be done by pressing [Esc] on your keyboard.

It is possible to select multiple records in a data grid (e.g. to move or copy multiple operations) on more than one item in a single operation.
To select multiple columns:
•Select a row in the grid.
•Holding the [Shift] key, select another row. The row selected first, this row and all rows in between will be selected.
•Holding the [Ctrl] key, select additional rows to make a non-continuous selection of individual rows.
When the mouse is hovered over certain column, a small funnel icon indicates that the data in the grid may be filtered on values in this column.

Clicking the funnel icon will drop down a filter menu. Clicking one or more options will filter the grid data for these values.
