When selecting the File Menu, the so-called backstage view becomes active. In the backstage view you can perform several tasks, similar to typical modern Windows applications.

Clicking these buttons has a direct effect. Note that selecting New may open a new window with a new Lookahead if the current window already has a Lookahead open. Also, the Save button is disabled as long as there is no Lookahead open with a valid file name (a new Lookahead has no file name until saved via the Save As tab sheet. |
